Racerback Maxi (worn as skirt) c/o Intimint,
TJ Maxx Lace Crop Top (last seen here),
Vintage giraffe-print belt (last seen here),
Balenciaga Dark Havana shades,
Steve Madden sandals,
Vintage crossbody bag.
As soon as I saw Lauren wearing this new neon pink maxi with my all time fave white, cross-body drawstring bag, I knew immediately where I wanted to document this look -- at a nearby, now defunct church with bright blue metal grates covering the entrance. There's something so deliciously 80s about this color combo that I couldn't resist.
Outfit documentation complete, Lauren took me to a brand new spot called St. Mazie that actually opened up just a short skip away from my old apartment. As soon as I walked inside I fell in love. With low, mint green tin ceilings, old-school metal fans, boat lights accenting the walls and French wicker tables from the 20s, I had found my soul-style manifest. Seriously, I could live in this place. And the best part is the maze of a hallway that leads to a secret garden-esque backyard. Sadly, Lauren and I were forced back inside as dusk was falling and we are both popular dinner items for mosquitoes, but I look forward to making a return trip there when cooler temps are back in season.

Just love this look! The maxi would have been cool on it's own but it looks fantastic with the lace overlay and the belt. Glad you found a new spot! I love the french feel. Maybe I'll check it out when I'm in the city next week!
