Citrus Crisp

5.01.2013

Thrifted BCBG Grecian dress (we love this yellow number too), Linen blazer from La Di Da Dee Brooklyn (similar here), Alexander Wang ombre booties (last seen here), Forever 21 geo cuffs (such a steal!), Vintage envelope clutch (similar here).

When I first saw Lauren in this dress she was wearing a bright red blazer instead of the white pictured. But without thinking I blurted out, "McDonalds colors!" and that was all it took for her to toss the red and demand I hand over the crisp white blazer I was already wearing. This happens a lot (both ways) and, actually, shortly after this conversation I completely changed outfits, changing into a summery green dress and out of a printed mullet maxi dress. The evidence is on Instagram (shameless plug) - don't forget to follow us @micolina_ & @heylogo!

In any event, we both LOVE how this look came together and paired with gold accents and a muted coral clutch we're now completely obsessed with bright yellow and crisp whites.

  7. Love this crisp, bright look! The white blazer was a great decision because it really brings out the other pieces of the outfit. That draped dress is pretty amazing on you Lauren! And as always Micol, I absolutely love your photos!

  16. This might be my favorite look! I love the dress and the blazer. And of course how could you not love the A Wang boots. I almost bought a similar pair off the Outnet. Kicking myself for not doing it! But really that yellow number is stunning!

  24. Lauren looks absolutely stunning!

She pulls off the yellow dress very nicely. Just as well you suggested a white jacket, with the red jacket there'd be waaaayy too much going on in the outfit!
