Earl Grey

1.30.2014

H & M sweater, Urban Outfitters asymmetrical skirt, Zara woollen hat, Vintage tweed coat (just seen here), Mossimo studded belt, Vintage pouch, Forever 21 ankle boots and midi ring set, Jamberry nail wraps in Earl Grey Houndstooth. Shot by Isaac Lacey.

Sometimes the easiest way for me to get dressed in the morning is to just pick a color scheme and stick with it. Black on black is probably the easiest combo (and the one New Yorkers opt for most), followed by black and grey, which was clearly my motivation for the look above. I love the draping on this skirt, and can't wait to break it out during the summer for some serious leg cleavage. And I'm also obsessed with this new hat I bought on sale from Zara. My friend Lauren mentioned that it looks like someone took bites out of the brim, but that unique detail (not to mention the awesome price) is really what sold me in the end.

  3. Hahaha, I don't think it looks like someone took bites out of the brim. Very chic look. I'm dreading the cold but I'm getting hopeful after this look that I can still look cute.
