Soaking up the sun on one of my favorite LA corners.

Thrifted Volcom trench with DIY cutoff sleeves (similar here), Going Cabanas dress c/o Lulu's, Rebecca Minkoff snakeskin Mini M.A.C, Kitti sunglasses c/o Quay Eyewear, Ambush Screw It pin, Zara silver bangles, Forever 21 midi ring set, Thrifted cuffed hand harness (loving this one too), Rose Gold wedge booties. Photos by Eric A. Reid.
Today I'm taking you on a little flashback to my trip to Los Angeles, which I seriously can't believe was only two weeks ago. After the success of my first shoot with my friend and photog Eric A, Reid, I decided to rendez-vous with him on his home turf, shedding my chunky NY layers (see, I really do have legs under there!) for a minidress and edgy accessories. I had been looking for an opportunity to sport this DIY longline vest that I created from a thrifted trench, and loved the attitude it gave off after being cinched in the back with this oversized pin by the Japanese design collective Ambush. Not surprisingly, Eric did an amazing job of capturing all the little details of the look, as well as selecting this gorgeous location for our shoot: the storefront of Isabel Marant, just off of Melrose. I hope these pics serve as a reminder to everyone (mostly myself) that warmer days are right around the corner!
