The weather in New York has been eerily gorgeous this week. Instead of the blazing heat that goes hand-in-hand with mid-July, we've been treated to gorgeous sunny days without an ounce of humidity. It almost feels like it could be late Spring, or (dare I say it) Southern California. As a result, instead of constantly donning cutoffs and tanks I've been able to break out a few jackets, pants and billowy blouses (like this gorgeous parrot print shirt) that I previously shoved to the back of my closet.
As for these images, they were taken on the High Line by the ever-talented Scott Brasher, whom I've had the pleasure of working with for the blog as well as for the creative agency I work with, HOWL Group. Despite the park being packed with tourists, he somehow managed to capture these few moments of tranquility before we popped down to The Standard Grill for lunch. Success!
And I don't know about you, but I can't wait for this weekend. This week has left me feeling emotionally and physically drained and I'm in need of some me time. Hope you get some time in for yourself in too!
