Confession: the above pics aren't from this weekend, but the one prior in Montauk. They were taken just before sunset on the oceanfront adjacent to my friend's house, and we couldn't believe just how empty and tranquil the beach was. A light shift dress was the perfect coverup after a day in the sun, while this army jacket served double-duty as a sort of belt to tie around my waist for added shape, and later as a coverup when the night grew colder.
How was everyone's Fourth of July? For the first time in years, I stayed in NYC for the long weekend, bbqing with friends, heading to the beach, and then spending a relaxing day up at the Cloisters with Isaac, exploring the museum and gorgeous gardens. So fun from start to finish. Hope you had a great one too!
