This Fall, I was lucky enough to team up with one of my favorite UK retailers Dorothy Perkins to highlight a few of their Fall essentials, as well as give my own take on how to style them. My first wardrobe must-have? The tailored trouser that you see above. It falls just above the ankle, making it perfect to wear with the season's ankle booties or loafers, and is perfect for the working gal who still wants to turn heads. For this look, I decided to glam it up a bit with a fun printed tee and fitted blazer, then added a little tomboy edge with a pair of brogues. Like what you see? You can shop their affordable and super cute selection of trousers here.
In addition to stocking up on items I feel I'm lacking for the months ahead, I've also been trying to take some time to look at my wardrobe and assess which items I no longer wear. In addition to selling my used clothes at Buffalo Exchange or Crossroads, I'm also planning on organizing a clothing swap with my close girlfriends. They all have a great sense of style, so the swaps we've done in the past have been super successful: everyone left with wardrobe pieces they loved. I highly suggest organizing one of your own!
