Biking around Romeo + Juliet's birthplace wasn't terrible.
Express crop tank (similar here), Gotcha Goucha pants c/o Tobi.com, French Connection crossbody bag, Vintage tribal necklace (I love this one too), Larsson + Jennings watch, Kate Spade x Keds sneakers. Shot by Isaac Lacey in Verona, Italy.
The next stop on my Italian getaway was none other than Verona, the town made famous for its star-crossed lovers. As with Venice, the romance here too is palpable. The city's center is surrounded by a wide river that catches the reflections of the spruces and tree-lined streets during the day and glistens with illuminated walkways and bridges during the evening. On this particular day we rented bikes in the morning from a little enoteca just north of the town's central square, and biked everywhere our feet could take us, even to the top of the hill that you see behind me in the first shots.
For the occasion I donned the only pair of sneakers that I brought on the trip - this colorful Kate Spade x Keds pair - which I must say was perfect for packing because they're so slim. And you might not be able to tell, but the printed bottoms I'm wearing are actually culottes, my first such pair if you can believe it! I saw them on Tobi.com and fell in love with the tribal pattern and affordable price. Easy to dress up or down for bike rides or sunset cocktails, they quickly became one of my wardrobe staples on this trip.
