The sky might be grey, but the city is as colorful as ever...

My third and last day in Berlin was mostly spent playing tourist. After hitting up the tents in the morning to check out up-and-coming designer William Fan's debut show during MBFWB, we decided to take some snaps in front of the Bradenburg Gate, one of Germany's best-known landmarks. What can I say, I couldn't pass up shooting in such an iconic location! We then hopped a cab to check out the new Mario Testino exhibit 'In Your Face' that had just opened at Kulturforum, and I'm so glad we did! Testino is one of my favorite old-school fashion photographers and it was such an epic exhibit of work ranging from ultra-glossy ads and editorial shoots, to some of his more personal, BTS snaps. The gallery space was entirely dark, and each print was bathed in a halo of light that really allowed the colors and details in his work to pop. So inspiring.
And then the night truly enveloped us... we popped over to a party at Campus, a pop-up store on the super-cute shopping streets of Mitte, followed by dinner at Monsieur Vuong, a delicious Vietnamese restaurant, and then to Soho House Berlin to meet some friends of Kara's and party hop with them. We wound up calling it quits from the clubs at around 4AM, which was rough given that our flight out was at 10AM. How we made it, I don't know. All I can tell you is I can't wait to get back to Berlin sometime soon!
