Tunics, flares, fringe... the seventies are back and I'm not mad about it.
ASOS lace-up sweater tunic, Nasty Gal bell bottoms (sold out, but I love these ones too), Rebecca Minkoff fringed Mini MAC, Vintage rings, Custom Gigi Burris hat, Nine West printed pumps (similar here). Shot by Isaac Lacey.
The weather is finally, kind of, sort of starting to get colder, so I did a little online shopping last week for a few new cozy sweaters to layer up with. I still can't believe I'm able to go coatless in NYC in November, but I'm also not one to start complaining... I know winter's just around the corner and when it's here we'll be missing these warmer days. That said, it's been so nice to be able to not have to pile on layer after layer, so I've been unconsciously putting together more streamlined looks like the one above. All it takes to recreate this outfit is just a simple, long-line sweater, a pair of flares and some fun printed and fringed accessories. I love that the results are a little bit boho, a little bit seventies, but totally modern at the same time. Plus you can't go wrong in crisp white, black and navy...
