Keeping warm in Timberland, wherever the trail might take me.
Wool parka, scarf and lace-up boots c/o Timberland, Rebecca Minkoff overalls, ASOS cropped sweater and hat, Joelle Hawkens bag. Shot by Scot Brasher in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Every winter we make a trip up to Isaac’s childhood home in New Hampshire and every year I’m stuck with the same dilemma – what to wear? All of my boots are heeled and look ridiculous outside of NYC, and most of my jackets, while warm, admittedly look a bit silly when placed in an outdoorsy setting.
So imagine my relief when Timberland approached me to be their ambassador again this Winter, asking me to test out a few of my favorite clothes and accessories from their newest arrivals. My essentials included this oversized blanket scarf, a pair of grey lace-up boots that are equally stylish and functional, and this Pendleton-lined parka, all of which kept me toasty warm on a chilly morning exploring the waterfront in Greenpoint with Scott Brasher at the lens.
It’s a relief to know these items will not only be perfect for my annual trip to New Hampshire, but also for random outings in Brooklyn and any other winter excursions Isaac might plan… even if it’s just braving the cold in order to head to brunch. Because the last thing anyone wants is for their outdoorsy boyfriend to think they’re not equipped to cope with the weather.
