Missing the dry, pre-snowstorm city streets.

The current sidewalk situation in NYC is a mess. Snow melting, slush everywhere, dirty puddles of ice just begging you to slip and fall into them. People are more aggressive than ever, just walking around trying to save themselves from the potential nightmare of falling flat on their asses. Forget wearing cute shoes or boots... they'll just get destroyed. Now's the time to break out your Sorels or Hunters. Or to find an excuse to never leave your apartment.
Everyone thinks the snowstorm itself is the worst part, but true New Yorkers know it's really the aftermath that sucks. The actual snowstorm is just an excuse to stay in sweats all day, add a little whiskey to your am coffee, and just sit on your couch and binge-watch Netflix/ movies. The perfect time to turn off from the world and spend some quality time snuggling with your man, prepping all the heartwarming meals possible and feeling lucky to be inside, somewhere warm, with someone who loves you.
Trying to remember those little moments as I navigate the slippery sidewalks this week and cuss at passerby in my head. Really though, I can't wait for the city to dry up and get back to 'normal,' per these shots taken last week while shopping in Soho with my girl Cher.
