NYFW: Patchwork Blues

Prepped for my first day of NYFW shows in a fun and punchy print.

Sachin + Babi dress, Vintage tweed coat, Coach satchel, Mossimo hat, Forever 21 choker, River Island zip-front heels. Shot by Cheralee Lyle.

It's that time of year again! NYFW is in full swing and, lo-and-behold, it didn't take long for me to get struck down by the plague, aka your common cold. Apparently there's nothing worse for your health than going from basking poolside wearing next-to-nothing in the warm Miami sun, to running around bundled up in all the layers in below-freezing temps as icy winds propel you from show to show. But, what can you do...

Although this fashion week has posed some challenges when it comes to getting dressed, things have been pretty chill overall. I'm all about taking the week at my own pace, heading to shows to show my support for brands that I've worked with in the past, or to gain exposure to young, emerging designers that are on the up-and-up. It's also a great time for meet-ups; grabbing drinks or a bite with other creatives in town is always one of my favorite excuses for downing some wine in the early afternoon, or having one too many coffees in the course of a day.

That said, if you're in town this week and want to grab a drink, hit me up! Would love to add you to my schedule.

  1. Love this! I think it's a perfect blend of bright and neutral colors. I would definitely wear something like this!
