Times Square Staycation

Joining The Staycationers for a champagne-infused, girl's-only evening at the Night Hotel.

Times Square is a part of Manhattan that I normally avoid... like the plague. But it's no mystery why tourists love the area. Neon lights, throngs of people, rows of cabs, music, theater, dance! There's really no place that's more obnoxiously NYC. So when The Staycationers asked me to spend a night with them at the Night Hotel, of course I said yes. I'm all for trying out new experiences and could use a little girl's night out.

With dim lighting, modern furniture and walls adorned with racy photography and gothic-style wallpaper, the Night Hotel on 45th Street offered us a welcome respite from the buzzing energy of midtown. The lobby and common areas were dark, moody and oh so chic... just how I like it. And let's not even talk about our accommodations for the evening! We wound up scoring one of the penthouse rooms: a one-bedroom duplex with two outdoor decks and a stunning view down 45th Street that was perfect for a champagne-poppin' Golden Hour. We were literally on top of the world.

After slipping into some fresh threads and getting dolled up by Bumble and Bumble, we headed out into the thick of things to catch a Broadway show and do some people watching before returning back to the hotel for cocktails, grub and some much-needed down time. Check out the full feature on Taste The Style here, or just take it from me: we had a blast.
