Now that I put together a recap of my favorite runway snaps/ trends from NYFW (if you missed it, you can find it here!) it's time to revisit a few of my favorite looks from that week. Oddly enough, they're all pretty much in the same color scheme of black and white... which is pretty shocking given my colorful wardrobe.

My reasoning for paring things down this year? During a time when the fashion set seems to pull out the loudest, craziest, most flashy pieces in their closet, there's something really refreshing about just reaching for a crisp white dress and accessorizing it with standout black accessories. Or maybe I'm just not ready for summer to come to a close and this was my way of flipping a finger to whomever came up with the stupid rule of, 'No white after Labor Day.'

Either way, hope you like my different takes on B&W dressing here. And a huge thank you to some of the street style photographers that were kind enough to send me some of their snaps from the week! Get to know them yourselves here  >> Ryan Chua, Yesica Flores & Xin Wang. They all have super inspiring fashion feeds, plus what better way to kill time on a Friday?!
